West Ham United midfielder Jack Wilshere has only had a limited impact for Manuel Pellegrini’s side so far.

Wilshere has barely made an impact at West Ham since moving to the London Stadium last summer.
However, Neville knows Wilshere very well, after working with him at England level.
And the Sky Sports pundit feels that the West Ham man offers his country something which they are desperately missing when he’s fit.
He said: “I was with England for four years and we ended up with Jack Wilshere as a holding midfield player for many of our games.
“If you’d have said was I of the opinion that Wilshere would be the holding midfield player for England – never in a million years.
“But he got us playing, he broke the lines and got us playing on the half-turn.

“I’ve had many discussions with Jamie Carragher about this, saying that he’s the best English midfield player, the most talented one.
“It seems crazy to say that, because he doesn’t play a lot of football, he’s always injured, he has issues with discipline, and he goes into tackles that are rash.”
Wilshere is on a contract worth £100,000-a-week at West Ham (The Sun), and he is going to have to raise his performance levels to justify that sort of salary.
Wilshere missed most of his first season at West Ham through injury, but he is desperate to make more an impact next time around.
The former Arsenal man has posted videos on social media of himself trying to keep fit over pre-season, to ensure he is in the best possible shape when West Ham return to training.
If Wilshere can get back to his best for the Hammers it would be a major boost for Manuel Pellegrini’s side as they look to break into the top seven next season.
