The Liverpool full-back has been mightily impressive this season.

Gary Neville spoke exclusively to Sky Sports, and suggested that the evolution of Liverpool left-back Andy Robertson has shocked him, sharing how England used to view him as a weak-link when they played against Scotland.
The 24-year-old joined the Reds from Hull City in the summer of 2017 for just £8 million, according to BBC Sport, and he has gone on to be a real hit at Anfield, making 74 appearances in all competitions in the process.
Robertson has been in quite simply sensational form for Liverpool this season, and he is now widely considered to be the best left-back in the Premier League, and certainly one of the best in Europe.
Neville explained how the Scotland international’s rise to prominence has shocked him, however, when speaking exclusively to Sky Sports:

“Robertson has become a brilliant full-back. I have to say, defensively with England, we actually exploited him up at Celtic Park. We said: ‘Make runs inside him, he’ll be good going forward, but defensively you’ll catch him.’ What he’s done at Liverpool has shocked me in terms of his defensive work.”
Liverpool are aiming to win both the Premier League title and the Champions League this season, and Robertson’s fine form has been a key factor behind their success.
And the Scot must surely be considered as the Reds best signing of the century to date.
