Gary Neville admits that he did not rate Tottenham Hotspur star Mousa Dembele too highly initially.

While analysing the progress some Tottenham players have made since Mauricio Pochettino was made the North London club’s manager in the summer of 2014, Neville told Sky Sports: “Mousa Dembele, I used to think was overweight and lazy but now I think of him as a fantastic player.”

Important player
Dembele has established himself as an important player for Tottenham over the past few years and is one of the best midfielders in the Premier League.
The 30-year-old Belgium international has made 21 starts and seven substitute appearances in the Premier League for Spurs this season.
The former Fulham star has had injury issues in recent times, but when fit and on form, he is a joy to watch.

Summer exit?
Dembele has been on the books of Tottenham since the summer of 2012 when he joined from Fulham for a transfer fee reported by The Independent to be worth £15 million.
According to a recent report in The Daily Mail, Tottenham are willing to sell the Belgian midfielder in the summer transfer window and value him at £20 million.
Dembele earns £80,000 per week as salary at Spurs, according to The Daily Star.
