Speaking on ITV’s coverage of England vs Czech Republic (22/6/21 8:45PM), Gary Neville has been waxing-lyrical about Bukayo Saka.
The Arsenal man gave the Czech defence a torrid time, with his pace and willingness to run with the ball causing all sorts of problems.
Neville was certainly impressed by what he saw from Saka.
What’s been said?
Neville was full of praise for Saka, claiming that he’s a breath of fresh air.
“Absolutely, that three behind Harry Kane have been absolutely brilliant. Sterling has moved more central, Grealish has gone out to the left and Saka has been just a breath of fresh air, they look like they’re enjoying themselves,” Neville said.

Spot on
Saka has been an absolute breath of fresh air in this England team.
The Three Lions were struggling to progress the ball against Scotland and Croatia, but against the Czechs there was a new life in their attack, and that’s down to Saka.
Indeed, Saka was England’s most progressive player on Tuesday. He was so keen to run with the ball and wanted to make things happen whenever he was in possession.
Hopefully, the Arsenal ace has been able to play his way into Gareth Southgate’s starting XI for the Germany game.
