Former Manchester United defender Neville was on co-commentary duty for the North London derby on Sky Sports Football.
In the 32nd minute, Neville noted how Jesus failed to take a chance he himself created.
Jesus closed down James Maddison, took his ball off him, and then shot towards goal.
The effort was not on target.
Neville noted about Jesus: “That is Jesus’s big problem. He is erratic in the last part of his game.”
Gabriel Jesus needs to do better
In our view, Arsenal striker Gabriel Jesus needs to do better when it comes to scoring goals.
We know that Jesus is very important to the way Arsenal play their football.
The striker is very good at pressing and is clever with his movement in and around the penalty area.
However, Jesus needs to score more goals.
After all, he is the main striker for Arsenal.
The Arsenal no. 9 scored 11 goals in 24 Premier League starts last season.
We believe that if Arsenal are to win the Premier League title this season, then Jesus has to find the net at least 15 times.
