How many goals has Harry Kane scored for Tottenham Hotspur?
Well, Gary Neville says the Englishman is just ‘pure gold’ after he became Tottenham Hotspur’s all-time leading goalscorer against Manchester City in the Premier League on Sunday.
The 29-year-old scored goal number 267 for Spurs – beating Jimmy Greaves’ long-standing record – when Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg pounced on a mistake from Man City in their own defensive third, before feeding Kane, who didn’t hesitate by putting the ball into the back of the net.
Not only was that goal number 267 in all competitions for Kane, but also goal number 200 in the Premier League.

During the Premier League era, only two players have hit the double century and that’s Wayne Rooney and Alan Shearer.
With months left of this current season, Rooney’s 208 goals for Everton and Manchester United will be beaten this term, but Shearer’s 260 will have to wait yet.
Nonetheless, this was Gary Neville’s reaction to Kane creating history, as he told Sky Sports Premier League (05/02/23).
“Well, Harry Kane is pure gold,” said Neville. “Man City, well, they tried to put one into midfield to Rico Lewis.
“And Harry Kane, we haven’t mentioned his name. But we have now. 267. What a player! He sorts of hits it into the ground, which maybe makes it more difficult for Ederson, but Man City have their own problems.
“That man has created history at this club.”

TOTTENHAM’S GREATEST-EVER?
Of the modern-era, Kane certainly stands above them all and he is the greatest Spurs have produced.
But when talking of all-time, then there are a fair few names to mention from the silky footwork of Glenn Hoddle to the ruthless goalscoring composure of Jimmy Greaves.
Whether Kane stays on beyond this summer, his contract or stays at the club for the rest of his life, he will forever be a Spurs legend and one of the goalscoring greats of his era.
