Romelu Lukaku has left Everton for Manchester United despite the reported interest of Antonio Conte’s Chelsea.

Gary Neville has taken to social networking site Twitter to give his reaction to Chelsea missing out on Romelu Lukaku to Manchester United.

Lukaku has left Everton for Premier League rivals United in the summer transfer window.

As reported by The Guardian on Friday, the Red Devils will have to pay the Toffees a transfer fee of £75 million in order to secure the services of the Belgium international striker.

As reported by BBC Sport on Friday, Chelsea were also interested in signing the 24-year-old striker this summer.

It was reported that the Premier League champions had made an offer £75m for the striker as well.

United legend Neville has taken to Twitter to give his reaction to Chelsea missing out on Lukaku to the Red Devils.

The former England international defender has criticised Chelsea manager Antonio Conte for sending a controversial text to star striker Diego Costa.

As revealed by Costa to The Guardian in June, the Spain international stated that Conte had sent him a text saying that he is not in the Italian’s plans for the 2017-18 campaign.

Neville has also given his verdict on Lukaku’s move to United.
