Tottenham Hotspur produced an unbelievable performance on Sunday afternoon as they hammered Manchester United 6-1 at Old Trafford.

Jose Mourinho’s side got off to a dismal start as Davinson Sanchez gave away a first-minute penalty, which Bruno Fernandes converted – but it was a dream day from then on.

Tanguy Ndombele and Son Heung-min turned the game on its head, before Harry Kane added a third and Son bagged another.

Serge Aurier made it 5-1, with Kane then scoring from the penalty spot to round off a stunning 6-1 win for Tottenham.

Anthony Martial’s first-half red card played a part in the result, but Tottenham were superb going forward even before that incident.

Gary Neville was impressed with Spurs throughout, but one moment really caught his eye – and that Son’s movement for his first goal.

Harry Kane won a free kick inside the United half, and spotted Son making a darting run between Eric Bailly and Luke Shaw, with the South Korean then dinking the ball over David De Gea.

Neville (Sky Sports, 04/10, 4:37pm) called the moment ‘absolute brilliance’, praising Son’s pace as ‘special’ as the United defence simply couldn’t stop him from scoring a superb goal.

“I’m gonna go on Son’s absolute brilliance and Harry Kane’s alertness,” said Neville. “This is special from Son. He’s quick Bailly, he’s quick Shaw, and he drives right through the middle of them. Brilliant from Kane, absolutely fantastic. Son’s touch is wonderful, and not many people can sprint past those two as cleanly as he did, and then he has the composure to just dink it over David De Gea,” he added.
