Despite slamming Tottenham Hotspur recently, Gary Neville is a massive fan of their manager Mauricio Pochettino.

Gary Neville has told Sky Sports that he ‘loves’ Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino and stressed that Spurs haven’t regressed under him.
Tottenham beat Wolverhampton Wanderers 3-2 at Molineux last night to leapfrog Arsenal into fourth in the Premier League table.
It was the Lilywhites’ third game in five days, having beaten West Ham in the League Cup in midweek after losing to Manchester City last Monday.
Pochettino has guided Tottenham to top-four finishes in three of his four seasons, with the Argentine’s side mounting title challenges in two of those years.
But the North Londoners finished 23 points behind champions Man City last term, and have lost two and drawn one of their three Champions League games this season, meaning a group-stage elimination beckons.
That being said, Neville, who criticised Tottenham last week, is adamant that they aren’t going backwards under the former Southampton boss.
“I love him as a coach, he is one of my favourite coaches in world football. Every time I see a Tottenham game I enjoy it, they try to play the right way, and he has done a brilliant job,” he told Sky Sports.
“They are sustaining top-four finishes and performing well game-in, game-out, season-in, season-out, and at the highest level I have seen over 30 years.

“Tottenham haven’t regressed; Manchester City and Liverpool are playing at a different level to two or three years ago when Mauricio Pochettino started.”
Pochettino is clearly a fantastic coach, but he must win a trophy this season.
Silverware is the only thing missing from his four-year stint at Tottenham, and failure to win something this time around won’t go down well with fans of the club.
Pochettino’s side are five points behind City at the moment, while a Carabao Cup quarter-final with Arsenal beckons next month. That represents their best chance of a trophy this season and the ex-Espanyol coach must go all out to win it.
