Pundit Gary Neville has raved about Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Yves Bissouma after shining against Manchester United.
Yves Bissouma has caught the eye of pundit Gary Neville after a superb performance for Tottenham Hotspur.
Spurs played their first home game of the new Premier League season on Saturday evening.
Manchester United were the visitors to North London and after a fairly even first half, Spurs took control.
Pape Matar Sarr opened the scoring before Lisando Martinez’s own goal wrapped it up for Tottenham.
Ange Postecoglou has his first Premier League win as Tottenham boss – and it’s a big one.

Gary Neville praises Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Yves Bissouma
Tottenham really went into another gear after half time with their midfield shining against United.
Sarr was a surprise starter but justified Postecoglou’s faith by scoring the opener with a superb finish.
James Maddison was simply outstanding, serving not just as a creative killer-passer, but also as a driving force to turn defence into attack.
The man behind them was Yves Bissouma, who was irresistible in the middle of the park.
The Malian looked absolutely full of confidence with his control in tight areas and his ability to dictate the game.
Bissouma racked up four tackles, three clearances and one interception in a strong defensive showing whilst also having the quality to impact the game further forward.

Signed for £25million last summer after shining for Brighton, Bissouma didn’t really flourish under Antonio Conte.
Gary Neville pointed that out on Sky Sports commentary (19/08, 7:20pm), suggesting that Bissouma ‘wasn’t fancied’ under the last Spurs manager.
Neville named Bissouma as his man of the match against Manchester United having also been ‘fantastic’ against Brentford last week.
Neville noted that Bissouma was just outstanding in all facets of the game and was simply the best player on the pitch on Saturday.
“I think he was fantastic last week against Brentford, but I think he’s been the best player on the pitch there today,” said Neville. “Taking the ball, more energy than the rest in there as well. He’s been brave, what you have to be in the midfield in a Premier League game. You’ve got to take it when it’s tight and compact and go past people, he broke play up, it’s been an all-round performance.”
“He wasn’t fancied was he, last season? He’s really excelled at the start of the season with Postecoglou giving him his chance and belief,” he added.
