Harry Kane and Romelu Lukaku have both been prolific this season in the Premier League, each netting 17 goals so far.

The two go head to head this weekend when Spurs take on Everton.

Pundit Gary Neville last night told SkySports that of the two players, Kane is valued more highly due to a difference in perceptions of the two players’ attitudes.

Neville told Monday Night Football that Kane’s work rate sets him apart from the Belgian international.

He said: “Sometimes he (Lukaku) doesn’t look like he’s giving his absolute all in a game, and may be that’s just an impression, where with Harry Kane you always get the feeling this guy takes home the result with him.

Lukaku may not enjoy hearing such criticism, but should answer it one way, by displaying his passion on the pitch and showing how much winning as a team means to him.

Neville of course has worked with Harry Kane first hand for England and knows all about the Tottenham man’s work rate.

Kane struck a hat-trick against Stoke City this past weekend while Lukaku was on target against Sunderland, and the contest between Tottenham and Everton promises to be a must watch.
