Gary Neville has told Monday Night Football, which was broadcast on Sky Sports, that he thinks Harry Kane looks so much happier at Tottenham Hotspur now.

Kane has started the current campaign in flying form, with the striker having five goals and eight assists to his name already.

Tottenham’s chief goalscorer has now become their main creative influence.

And Neville feels that Kane, who once looked unhappy with Jose Mourinho’s style of play, is now loving life at Spurs.

“I watched Kane at points last season and I didn’t think he looked happy at the way that the team were playing. He looks happier now,” Neville said.

“There’s more passes, more possession, more playing to feet, more runners in behind and better players around him.”

Kane has been encouraged to drop into deep areas at Spurs this season and utilise his brilliant passing range.

With Heung-Min Son and Lucas Moura racing forward ahead of him, defences have really struggled to contain Spurs.

Tottenham are currently the leading scorers in the top flight, but their game last night was far from free-flowing.

Burnley managed to limit Tottenham’s attacking threat, but Jose Mourinho’s men still found a way through – with Kane flicking the ball on for Heung-Min Son to score from.
