Gary Neville believes that Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is part of the reason why the Premier League has become the best in the world on Monday Night Football, which was broadcast on Sky Sports.
Two Premier League sides will compete in the Champions League final this season, for the second time in just three years.
Although Liverpool won’t be involved in the European showcase game this time around, Neville still feels that Klopp has contributed to England’s top flight’s success.
And he hailed the Reds boss and Manchester City’s Pep Guardiola when talking about the reasons why the Premier League has become the strongest league in the world football at this moment in time.
“The best players in the world perceived by most are still in those leagues,” he said.
“But you then come to managers. All of a sudden we’ve got Jurgen Klopp staying at the club for four or five years, Pep Guardiola. Pochettino five years at Spurs, Tuchel who has just come in.
“The differentiator is not the money, because the money has always been bigger in the Premier League.
“The players are still probably the best in the world elsewhere in the French league, the German league and the Spanish league.
“But the big difference in the managers and it’s something that hit me.

“We have absolutely unbelievable managers in this league. Pep Guardiola is a genius, Jurgen Klopp is absolutely outstanding, outstanding. Tuchel what he has done in six months at Chelsea is out of this world.”
The job Klopp has done at Liverpool simply cannot be underplayed, despite their struggles this season.
Klopp has led Liverpool to their first Premier League title and made them a dominant force in England.
The Reds have suffered badly with injury this term, which has affected their progress both domestically and in European competition.
But there is a feeling that once Liverpool have their fully fit squad back again next season then they will be challenging for the title once again.
