Gary Neville has predicted on Twitter that Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal are the favourites to sign Declan Rice if the in-demand midfielder does leave West Ham United at the end of the season.
The former Manchester United defender believes that Rice, who has been linked with Arsenal and Chelsea, could stay at West Ham beyond the end of the season.
The Sky Sports pundit has added that if Rice does leave the Hammers in the summer transfer window, then he is most likely to end up at Arsenal.
The Independent reported this week that Arsenal are keen on signing Rice from London and Premier League rivals West Ham in the summer transfer window.
Sky Germany journalist Florian Plettenberg has claimed that Chelsea are keen on Rice.
In February 2023, talkSPORT presenter Jim White claimed that West Ham want £120 million plus add-ons for the England international, who can also operate as a defender.

HITC Verdict: Summer transfer could happen
In our view, Arsenal could be able to sign Declan Rice from West Ham United in the summer transfer window.
Now, the Hammers could survive in the Premier League for another season, but Rice will surely want to play for a club who challenge for major trophies.
And Arsenal could end up winning the Premier League title this season.
We believe that if the Gunners make a good offer for Rice, then they would be able to sign the English star.
