Gary Neville told Sky Sports during their live coverage of Leeds United’s 6-2 defeat against Manchester United on Sunday that he was still worried about the Yorkshire side even at 4-1.

The TV pundit stated that Leeds were still making his ‘stomach churn a little bit’ even when the score was 4-1 and he also thinks the Manchester United defenders wouldn’t have felt comfortable.

It was a day to forget if you are a Leeds fan and one to saviour from the perspective of the Lancashire side because not only did they demolish their rivals, they also sent out a message to their title rivals.

Nonetheless, Neville was sharing his thoughts on Leeds and how they were still on the front foot even though they had conceded four goals at Old Trafford in next to no time.

“They are just that type of team that makes your stomach churn a little bit,” chuckled Neville. “4-0 up against any other team and you will be thinking ‘oh don’t worry about that, it’s a consolation’ even with 50 minutes to go.

“Like I mentioned before, they are a bit of a daft bunch this lot. You can be a defender in that Manchester United team and you are not going to be comfortable irrespective of the score.

“They don’t allow you to be comfortable. They do everything you don’t want. They run in-behind. They dribble at you. They play the ball forward.”

Leeds are the Premier League entertainers this season and they are that modern-day Kevin Keegan Newcastle side that pushed for the title many years ago.

Given that the Whites are newly-promoted, they don’t have that stability or much-needed experience in their game just yet because many of their players are missing it.

Their man-to-man marking style throughout the pitch can seem and look a little crazy on the eye, but it’s a formula that has worked and it’s a reason why Leeds are locking horns with their rivals once more in the promised land.
