Gary Neville suggests that Liverpool will be able to match Manchester City.

Manchester United legend Gary Neville has suggested to Sky Sports that Liverpool will be able to match Manchester City.
The former United defender made the claim about Liverpool following City’s defeat to Tottenham Hotspur at the weekend.
Spurs got the better of City 2-0 at White Hart Lane in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon.
The Citizens had also failed to win last week, playing out a 3-3 draw with Celtic away from home at Celtic Park in Champions League Group C.

Former United defender Neville believes that Liverpool will be able to match City’s intensity.
“Not every team will be able to achieve what Celtic are able to with their atmosphere at Celtic Park and what Tottenham can do with their incredible energy levels,” Neville told Sky Sports when asked if Spurs have unearthed the best way to beat City. “Liverpool will definitely be able to do it, though.”

Liverpool have made a strong start to the 2016-17 Premier League campaign and are in contention of winning the title.
The Merseyside outfit are fourth in the table at the moment with 16 points from seven matches, just two points behind leaders City.
Tottenham are second with 17 points from seven games, while Arsenal are third with 16.
Chelsea and Manchester United are also aiming to win the Premier League title this season.
City should still be the favourites, but as Celtic and Tottenham have shown, Pep Guardiola’s side are not invincible.
