Gary Neville has praised Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta for his decision regarding Takehiro Tomiyasu against Sean Dyche’s Everton at Goodison Park in the Premier League on Sunday.

Leandro Trossard scored the only goal of the match in the second half.
Bukayo Saka provided the assist.
Takehiro Tomiyasu did not start the match.
But, the 24-year-old Japan international defender came on for Oleksandr Zinchenko in the 80th minute.
Zinchenko started the match at left-back.

And later on his podcast, the pundit noted that it was very smart of Arteta to bring on Tomiyasu late in the match to shore things up.
Neville said: “That back-four that played today, I thought Zinchenko was very good on the ball and the other three were very solid defensively.
“Tomiyasu comes on, which I think was a very smart move by Mikel Arteta, just to give them that extra strength, they did look really solid.”
Big win for Arsenal
In our view, Arsenal needed to pick up all three points against Everton.
Everton did make it hard for the Gunners.
That Arsenal managed to win the match by a single goal shows how tough it was for Mikel Arteta’s side.
Everton were defensively very tight, and Sean Dyche’s side did make it really hard for Arsenal to break them down.
However, the Gunners were the better team.
Arsenal needed to pick up all three points from the match to keep pace with defending champions Manchester City.
