Gary Neville can’t see Kylian Mbappe joining Liverpool amid questions over the future of the Paris Saint-Germain striker.

If you thought the Mbappe soap opera was finally over then you’re very much mistaken.

Mbappe ended up staying with PSG over the summer despite strong, unrelenting speculation that he was joining Real Madrid.

Mbappe signed a new three-year deal in May with Sky Sports reporting that PSG agreed to pay him a staggering £4million-a-month.

Yet just a matter of months on, Mbappe is already believed to be angling for a move away from the French giants.

Julien Laurens claims that Mbappe feels betrayed by PSG because they promised to sign a target man for him to play off.

Deals for Robert Lewandowski and Gianluca Scamacca couldn’t be done and Mbappe is now seemingly looking to leave the French capital.

Just where could Mbappe end up though?

Real wanted him but very publicly raged over him staying with PSG rather than heading to Spain.

Liverpool have long been linked with Mbappe too but the money involved would surely be a problem for owners FSG.

Laurens has added that Mbappe really likes Liverpool but they just can’t afford to lure him to Anfield right now.

A move to Liverpool just seems very complicated and many are doubting that the Reds can even get involved in the race.

Gary Neville has now offered his say on Mbappe to Liverpool on the latest Overlap Fan Debate.

With David Ornstein bringing up that Mbappe’s relationship with PSG is broken beyond repair, the topic of Mbappe to Liverpool was raised.

“He ain’t going to Liverpool, Mbappe!” said Neville, brushing off the rumours in blunt fashion whilst suggesting that only reason Mbappe would be heading to Liverpool is to watch Eurovision next year.

Neville will certainly hope that Mbappe doesn’t turn up at Anfield, as he could take Liverpool to another level for years to come.
