Gary Neville has praised Liverpool midfielder Harvey Elliott on Sky Sports Premier League (9:14pm, August 22, 2022) for his performance against Manchester United at Old Trafford on Monday evening.
The former Manchester United star believes that Liverpool midfielder Eliott was one of the better players for Jurgen Klopp’s side this evening.
The 19-year-old, who can operate as a midfielder or as a winger, started on the right of a midfield-three against United.
Neville was on co-commentary duty for the match on Sky Sports this evening.
And he was impressed by Elliott’s performance for Liverpool.

Encouraging performance
In our opinion, Liverpool midfielder Harvey Elliott played well against Manchester United at Old Trafford in the Premier League on Monday evening.
The midfielder is only 19, but he produced a very mature performance and was one of the better players on the pitch.
The teenager took four shots but none of them was on target, played two key passes, had a pass accuracy of 87%, took 65 touches, and put in one cross.
Liverpool will be disappointed with the defeat to Manchester United, but the fans should be encouraged by the display on show from Elliott.
