Gary Neville has shown his support towards Ian Wright, who confirmed to have stepped down from BBC Match of the Day for Saturday’s broadcast after Gary Lineker was axed.

With Lineker having to take a step back after his recent comments that opposed England’s new asylum policy, BBC said that he violated their regulations about taking sides on ‘party political issues and political controversies.’

As the United Kingdom’s premier broadcasting corporation received plenty of backlash, the Arsenal legend took to Twitter to confirm that he plans to support the former Leicester City striker by deciding not to appear on the show on Saturday.

Now, Gary Neville has pledged his support towards Ian Wright for supporting Gary Lineker when it comes to his stance against BBC Match of the Day.
