Gary Neville took to Twitter to give his take on the controversy surrounding Sergio Aguero’s apparent elbow in Manchester City’s win over West Ham on Sunday.

Sergio Aguero is often a talking point come Monday after the Premier League fixtures at the weekend.
While it’s his goal scoring exploits that usually create the headlines, this time he has made them for the wrong reasons.
An apparent elbow on West Ham’s Winston Reid has caused debate amongst every football supporter.

It does look like Aguero misses Reid when he swings for him, though the intent behind it has struck up an argument.
People believe the City striker deserves a straight ban, whilst others feel it warranted a mere yellow card at most. Former Manchester United defender and now Sky Sports pundit Gary Neville became the latest to have his say on Twitter.
Neville doubts the Premier League’s ability to discipline Aguero.
It all depends on referee Andre Marriner, who if, in his report of the game, confirms he saw the incident but decided against taking action at the time, then nothing will happen.

Next up for Pep Guardiola’s side is the Manchester derby and the City boss will be hoping Aguero can play a part in the big game on Sept 10.
Manchester United fans will be wanting otherwise, praying the 76th minute works its way onto Marriner’s report to avoid their goal being targeted by, when in this form, the best player in the league.
