Gary Neville has told his own self-titled podcast that the only thing that Tottenham Hotspur’s Harry Kane is practically unstoppable now.
Kane scored his 150th Premier League goal at the weekend, as he continued his wonderful run of form this season.
Kane’s headed against West Brom wasn’t his most spectacular of strikes, but it was vital for Tottenham, as it sealed them the three points.
And Neville just cannot see Kane’s form dipping any more, due to his ruthless mentality.
“The only thing that can stop Harry Kane from breaking every record is injury,” Neville said.
“Alan Shearer is the best striker in Premier League history in terms of his goal record. Wayne Rooney I’d put up there with him.
“And Harry Kane has so much similarity in his game in terms of ice-cold. He doesn’t seem to flinch if he misses a chance, he’ll come back and do the right thing.
“He’s brilliant. He’s a great professional. England are lucky to have him.”
Kane’s form this season has been nothing short of remarkable, with 27-year-old scoring seven goals and provided eight assists in eight Premier League games to date.
Jose Mourinho seems to be bringing the very best out of Tottenham’s star player, and that has been a major reason why Spurs have performed so well this season.
Tottenham are currently sat in second place in the Premier League table, with optimism rising that they could put together a strong title challenge this term.
