Tottenham struggled to a 1-1 draw against Southampton on Sunday afternoon.

Pundit Gary Neville looks on prior to the Premier League match between West Bromwich Albion and Arsenal at The Hawthorns on December 31, 2017 in West Bromwich, England.

Gary Neville has claimed in his Sky Sports column that he is confident Tottenham Hotspur will not sanction moves for Harry Kane, Dele Alli and Mauricio Pochettino in the summer as they remain crucial to the north Londoners.

England internationals Kane and Alli have been repeatedly linked with a move as they continue to shine for Pochettino, who himself is said to be interesting some of Europe’s biggest sides.

Tottenham’s rapid rise as an established top-four Premier League side has been largely down to the trio, among others, and they remain pivotal to where they will finish this season come May.

Premier League icon and former England right-back Neville reckons the trio will stay after the summer transfer window because of Spurs’ impending new stadium, which will replace White Hart Lane.

“I saw some speculation this week linking him to Real Madrid but I would forget all the speculation surrounding Kane in this next 18 months. Spurs are never going to sell him,” Neville said.

“It’s the same with Alli and Pochettino will not be allowed to leave during this period when there’s a new stadium coming. It’s such an important period in the club’s history. They need to make sure they go into that stadium with a good feeling.

“And the idea of your best two players, idols with the fans and also the manager, who is loved at Tottenham, leaving, it’s not going to happen and that’s a good thing for Tottenham.”

Kane, 24, continued his marvellous goalscoring record on Sunday with his 99th Premier League goal, heading home a Ben Davies corner to equalise after Davinson Sanchez scored an own goal against the Saints.

However, Spurs were unable to secure three points with Kane, Erik Lamela and Eric Dier all going close throughout. They remain two points behind the top four, but that gap could widen to five if Liverpool beat Swansea on Monday night.
