Gary Neville has said on his podcast that Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool could compete with Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal and Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City for the Premier League title this season.
Liverpool are ninth in the Premier League table at the moment with 10 points from seven matches.
Arsenal are currently at the top of the standings with 21 points from eight matches.
Defending English champions Manchester City are second in the league table with 21 points from eight matches.
Erling Haaland scored a hat-trick for City in the Manchester derby against Manchester United at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday.
Arsenal eased past Tottenham at the Emirates Stadium in the North London on Saturday.
Former Manchester United star Neville believes that Liverpool could still compete for the Premier League title this season.

Gary Neville on Liverpool competing with Arsenal and Manchester City
Neville said about Liverpool: “You think to yourself, ‘Are they going to compete this year for the title?’ Probably not, but you never know.
“Because, to be fair, Jurgen Klopp can do the exceptional, and he has, to be fair, over the past few years surprised us incredibly.”
Could the Reds win the title?
In our opinion, Liverpool are unlikely to win the Premier League title this season.
Now, of course, today is October 2, so there is a lot of football to be played this season.
However, Manchester City are looking really scary, and it is hard to see the Citizens slip up, especially with Haaland banging in the goals for fun.
True, Arsenal could stumble and may not be able to maintain their current levels, but could City also have a bad season for Liverpool to swoop in?
We do not think so.
