Manchester United are reportedly set to make a £25m bid for Crystal Palace’s Premier League starlet Aaron Wan-Bissaka.

Manchester United legend Gary Neville has urged his former club to make Crystal Palace defender Aaron Wan-Bissaka one of their top summer targets, speaking to The Standard.
Wan-Bissaka is quickly establishing himself as one of the most promising young players in English football, just over a year after he forced his way into Roy Hodgson’s first team at Selhurst Park.
And with United in need of a new right-back to replace the departing veteran Antonio Valencia, the Croydon-born starlet has emerged as a top target with The Standard reporting that the Premier League giants are set to make an opening offer worth £25 million.
Crystal Palace are likely to demand closer to £50 million for their homegrown hero, however. But Neville, himself a top class right back in his playing days, believes Wan-Bissaka would be a fine addition for a Manchester United team who are badly in need of an overhaul.
“He’s a massive talent and the club, to be fair, have always signed young, emerging British talent,” Neville said “I don’t think that should change and it would seem to me that the club would like to go back down that route and he is one.

“The price is always going to be big because clubs are wise now to it, you can’t pinch players off clubs for £5m or £6m.
“They are wise to it and have the Premier League funding of £100-odd million so they don’t need to panic, they don’t need extra £5m or £10m – they want £50m or £60m.”
Manchester United won’t have it easy signing Wan-Bissaka with a number of established giants across Europe also reported to be taking an interest in a player who is yet to represent England at international level.
