Tottenham Hotspur managed to score twice against Manchester City yesterday, as Mauricio Pochettino’s side claimed a point.

Tottenham managed just three shots throughout the whole 90 minutes against City, but still escaped from the Etihad with a 2-2 draw.
Spurs looked disjointed going forward, as they struggled to create many opportunities against City.
And Neville has suggested that he has never seen Tottenham look to rigid in their attacking play.
“Pochettino alluded to the fact they were rigid and had to be narrow,” Neville said.
“They were so rigid in defence and it meant that it was the worst I’ve ever seen Tottenham in terms of being rigid in attack.
“They’re usually really good at getting players in between the lines like Alli and Eriksen. But they played in straight lines today Tottenham. They were so focused on being rigid in defence they struggled to get into a good shape to attack.”

Tottenham scored with both their shots on target, and their ruthlessness in front of goal surely was a positive to take for Pochettino.
Erik Lamela first curled in a shot from range, before Lucas Moura made an impact impact off the substitutes bench, as he headed home from a corner.
Tottenham had to rely on a late disallowed goal and some last last defending to claim a point, but the result ended up being a very positive one.
Tottenham are now unbeaten in their first two Premier League matches, with their next game coming against struggling Newcastle United.
