Both Everton and Liverpool goalkeepers had bad weekends.
Speaking to Sky Sports, Gary Neville has criticised Everton and Liverpool goalkeepers Maarten Stekelenburg and Loris Karius saying they transmit anxiety through their teams.
Neither goalkeeper enjoyed stellar weekends with both putting in disappointing performances on Sunday afternoon.
First, Karius had something of a horror show against Bournemouth, with a fumble allowing Nathan Ake to score a late winner for the Cherries.

At Goodison Park, a rash decision from Stekelenburg saw him race out of his goal and give Zlatan Ibrahimovic the chance to score, an opportunity the Swede duly took.
It was the latest of several mistakes from the Dutchman this season and Neville has criticised both him and Karius.
“Goalkeepers can transmit anxiety all round the ground and all the way through a team, and the likes of Karius and Stekelenburg… that’s what they do,” he told Sky Sports.
“They’re good at it. They are good at transmitting anxiety because they basically do things that unsettle everybody. The crowd then start getting a little panicky.”

It will certainly be interesting to see what both Merseyside teams end up doing about their goalkeeper situations.
Liverpool are likely to stick with Loris Karius, with hopes he can develop as David de Gea did at Manchester United.
Everton, though, desperately need a long-term number one and it would not be surprising to see them looking to add in that department in the January transfer window.
