Tottenham Hotspur were beaten 2-1 by Chelsea at Wembley yesterday.
Spurs lost 2-1 against their London rivals at Wembley, in what was a highly disappointing defeat for Mauricio Pochettino’s side.
Tottenham went behind against Chelsea when Marcos Alonso curled in a free-kick early on, but they responded well and had Antonio Conte’s side penned back for large areas of the game.

However, Chelsea defended resolutely and put up a firm resistance to Spurs’ attacking play.
Eventually Tottenham found a way through, when Michy Batshuayi diverted a Christian Eriksen free-kick into his own net.
And at that point, it looked as if Pochettino’s side were the more likely winners.
There was a sting in the tale though, as Alonso added a second late on to secure the three points.
Tottenham have faced criticism following the defeat, but Neville didn’t think that the Lilywhites deserve to be under too much scrutiny.
“Tottenham, I don’t think you can be critical,” he said. “The one thing you’ll hear after this game is Tottenham’s record at Wembley. It is poor, but today, the first 25 minutes aside, they’ve played a good game.”
