Gary Neville feels that Tottenham Hotspur ace Dejan Kulusevski has endured a ‘massively disappointing’ season.

The Swedish winger was brought back into the starting lineup on Sunday as Spurs haded to Anfield.
Ryan Mason decided to leave Kulusevski on the bench for Thursday’s 2-2 draw with Manchester United.
Richarlison came back into the side but failed to really seize his chance in the Tottenham attack.
Mason turned back to Kulusevski on Sunday and Neville noted his underwhelming campaign.
Neville feels that Kulusevski started ‘really well’ at Tottenham after arriving from Juventus in January 2022.
However, Neville feels that this season has been ‘massively disappointing’ with Kulusevski only managing to score one goal.
“Another wide player who has had a challenging season, Kulusevski, who comes back into the team, he was left out against Manchester United on Thursday night. Again, he started his Tottenham career really well but he’s only scored one goal this season, which is massively disappointing for him,” he added.
We must highlight a slight error here; Kulusevski has managed two goals this season, scoring against Southampton and Manchester City.
That’s still not exactly impressive though and Kulusevski would have wanted much more.

Tottenham still seem convinced by Dejan Kulusevski
Kulusevski was sensational after arriving from Juve, racking up five goals and eight assists in eight games.
A goal and an assist on the opening day of the season against Southampton left Spurs fans thinking that Kulusevski would replicate that kind of form.
Kulusevski just hasn’t managed to get back to that kind of form and Spurs fans will be wondering what happened.
A thigh injury earlier in the season certainly hampered Kulusevski.
The 23-year-old still came back with assists against Liverpool and Leeds United, showing the guile and creativity we expect.
Then the World Cup break came, as did another small injury blow straight after the return.
That stop-start period seems to have dented Kulusevski and we’re just not quite seeing the same impact from him right now.
Spurs still seem to be convinced by signing loanee Kulusevski permanently though.
Tuttomercatoweb reported in April that Tottenham intend to purchase Kulusevski permanently.
Fabrizio Romano claimed last summer that Tottenham must pay £31million to sign Kulusevski permanently.
That still seems like a decent deal for Spurs, even if they would be trusting Kulusevski to find his best form again.
