Gary Neville has told his self-titled podcast that he is fed up with Granit Xhaka committing so many fouls for Arsenal.
Xhaka is currently out with suspension, after grabbing Ashley Westwood by the throat in the Gunners’ game against Burnley.
The incident was not an isolated one, with Arsenal receiving far too many red cards of late.
And Neville believes that indiscipline is definitely becoming an issue for Arsenal, with Xhaka a serial offender.
“Xhaka, is the one. We’ve said it. Every time he plays he commits 100 fouls,” Neville said.
“He could be sent off in many more matches because of the accumulation of fouls that he commits. Ill discipline is a problem.”
Mikel Arteta has shown great faith in Xhaka since taking charge at Arsenal, but there is surely only so long that the Swiss international can continue to be backed.
The problem for the Gunners is that their midfield options are hardly plentiful at this moment in time.

Dani Ceballos is badly out of form, Mohamed Elneny may not be up to the standard required, Thomas Partey is injured and most their other options are completely unproven at the top level.
Xhaka will be available for Arsenal’s next Premier League game, which comes against Chelsea on Boxing Day, as he will sit out the final part of his suspension tomorrow night, when Arteta’s men take on Manchester City in the League Cup.
