Gary Neville has claimed that Liverpool are ‘unbelievably dangerous’ and really does worry that they could win at least a treble this season.

Liverpool have already won one major competition after beating Chelsea in the final of the Carabao Cup.

However, Jurgen Klopp’s outfit are one point behind Manchester City in the Premier League, preparing for a Champions League quarter-final against Benfica and have an FA Cup semi-final to look forward to.

The quadruple is very much on for the Anfield side this season.

And Neville, a Manchester United fan, has admitted that it scares him to admit that Liverpool could enjoy a clean sweep of major honours.

He told The Overlap’s Debate show on YouTube: “I think they’re unbelievably dangerous and I think they’ll do something really special this season. When I watched them against Arsenal there was nothing I saw that didn’t tell me that’s a team that’s going to go win the title.

“That’s a title-winning performance that. They’re going to do something dangerous this season. It’s scary for a United fan to say that. I really do worry they’re going to win three or four trophies.”

Could Liverpool win four trophies?

Well it’s certainly possible.

However, it does seem very unlikely.

No matter how good Liverpool are under Klopp, wear and tear has to strike eventually and keeping their best players fit and firing between now and the end of the season seems unrealistic.

They have to face Manchester City at the Etihad on April 10 in what’s looking like the biggest Premier League match between any teams for a very long, long time.

Win that to go top of the Premier League standings with a month left in the season and it’ll certainly provoke the thought that they can genuinely find success in the remaining competitions, too.
