Gary Neville has taken to Twitter to reveal he’d like to see Jude Bellingham at Manchester United in 2022, despite the fact he’s Liverpool’s top target.
What’s the story?
Well, it was the Daily Star who revealed that Jürgen Klopp has made the 18-year-old Liverpool’s top target for next summer.
It was said that £80m might be enough to tempt Borussia Dortmund into selling the ex-Birmingham wonderkid.
However, when hosting a Q&A on Twitter, Neville said he’d rather see Bellingham at Old Trafford than Anfield.
You can see the Sky Sports pundit’s tweet below.
Interestingly, Neville would have Bellingham over Declan Rice, even though the West Ham man has 137 Premier League appearances to the Borussia Dortmund man’s zero.
Would Jude Bellingham or Declan Rice be better for Liverpool?

Neville was asked an interesting question, one we’d like to replicate for Liverpool.
Coincidentally, the Reds have also been linked with a move for Rice, so it’s possible that Michael Edwards and Klopp are actually having this debate.
In our view, as good as Rice is, Bellingham is the more attractive option.
He is four years younger than the West Ham 22-year-old, and with all due respect, is more limited than Bellingham.

The Borussia Dortmund prodigy has more strings to his bow, and is a better box-to-box option.
Bellingham has ten career goals to his name in 100 outings, whereas Rice has just six in 185 appearances.
In Klopp’s midfield, you must be as rounded as possible, which is exactly what Bellingham is.
If he was to lose him to Manchester United of all clubs, the German will surely be absolutely devastated.
