The Plymouth Argyle defender faced the Everton-owned Preston North End defender when the latter was at Celtic.
Plymouth Argyle defender Gary Miller has spoken highly of Preston North End winger Aiden McGeady to The Daily Mail.
Miller played against McGeady when he was playing in Scotland and the latter was at Celtic.
The 29-year-old right-back, now at League Two club Argyle, has reflected on facing the 30-year-old winger, who joined Championship club Preston on a season-long loan deal from Premier League outfit Everton in the summer transfer window.

“Probably the best technically and football-wise would be Aiden McGeady when we played Celtic,” Miller told The Daily Mail when asked about his hardest opponent.
“That was when he was at his peak before he went to Spartak Moscow. He was a righty playing on the left but he’s just as capable with his left foot so he could go left or right of you and he was full of tricks.”
McGeady started his professional club football career at Celtic and achieved quite a lot of success before moving to Spartak Moscow in 2010.
The Republic of Ireland international winger has been on the books of Everton since 2014 and has yet to make a huge impact at Goodison Park.

The 30-year-old winger had a loan spell at Sheffield Wednesday last season and is now at Preston.
Preston are 11th in the Championship table at the moment with 23 points from 16 matches.
Everton are currently seventh in the Premier League table with 18 points from 11 games.
Plymouth are at the top of the League Two table with 35 points from 15 matches.
