Steven Gerrard’s Ibrox club Glasgow Rangers will kick off their season late if Neil Lennon’s Celtic win the Scottish Cup final.

McAllister has outlined why Celtic winning against Hearts in the Scottish Cup final next weekend will help Rangers next season.
If the Hoops win the match, then they will clinch the domestic treble for the third season in a row.
It will also mean that Rangers will kick off their 2019-20 Europa League campaign at the second qualifying round.
Steven Gerrard’s side will start their season on July 25 instead of July 11, which will certainly help the Gers prepare better for the 2019-20 campaign.
Rangers assistant manager McAllister, who was appointed in the role in the summer of 2018, has suggested that Celtic winning against Hearts next weekend will help the Gers.
McAllister told The Sunday Post: “That would have a big effect on when our first game is. You work back off that in terms of your pre-season organisation. “The extra two weeks would benefit us.”
The Rangers assistant manager added: “It would help with the international boys, but also the people we bring in. We got boys in early last year and it gave them a chance to blend into the group.
“There’s no better place than a pre-season camp to do that. When the players are there for the entire time, they live in each other’s pockets.
“So you get to know people very quickly. Will I be cheering Celtic on at Hampden? Absolutely!”

Makes sense?
McAllister’s aforementioned comments about Celtic may seem strange to Rangers fans, who will not want the Hoops to win the domestic treble yet again this season.
However, it will certainly help Rangers if they get to kick off their season late, and will aid in manager Gerrard’s quest to bed everyone in the team.
