Arne Slot’s style of play at Liverpool will be just as physically demanding for the players as their time under Jurgen Klopp.
The Dutchman was hired by the Reds as his energetic and fast-paced philosophy at Feyenoord was seen as the closest in style to Klopp’s.
It has certainly gone down well with a number of Liverpool players, with both Curtis Jones and Harvey Elliott praising Slot’s first few weeks in training.
Liverpool started their pre-season preparation with a 1-0 win over Real Betis on the weekend and the games during their summer tour are now coming thick and fast with Arsenal and Manchester United on the horizon.
It gives fans a chance to see their favourite players back in action and see what Arne Slot has been working on over the summer.
Former Liverpool midfielder Gary McAllister believes fans may notice a big change in Conor Bradley in particular.

Conor Bradley transformation over the summer
Bradley enjoyed a breakthrough campaign at Anfield last season with the 21-year-old seamlessly filling in for Trent Alexander-Arnold and impressing at right-back.
He forced his way into Klopp’s first-team plans and Slot has continued in similar fashion with Bradley starting against Real Betis.
Speaking to Sky Sports, McAllister explained that Bradley has changed physically over the summer.
“I think Conor Bradley last season was immense, but he’s still very very young. His body shape has changed quite a bit, he’s grown into his body,” he said.
“So he’s exciting, I think he’s looking very sharp and I’m excited to see him.”
Conor Bradley at Liverpool next season
After building huge momentum last season, Bradley will hope to carry that success into the new campaign under Slot.
However, his opportunities in the first-team could come down to the role handed to Trent Alexander-Arnold.

If he is deployed at right-back then Bradley could find himself back on the bench playing second-fiddle.
But if Slot experiments with Alexander-Arnold higher up or in midfield – provided he even stays at Liverpool – then Bradley has proved that he is more than capable of starring at right-back.
