Former Liverpool and Leicester City midfielder Gary McAllister predicted on the BT Sport Score show on BT Sport 1 on Saturday afternoon (4:11pm, October 21, 2017) that Leeds United will finish in the top six of the Championship this season.

McAllister played for Leeds from 1990 until 1996 and managed the West Yorkshire outfit in 2008.

“I certainly think they will get into the playoff situation,” said McAllister about Leeds on the BT Sport Score show on BT Sport 1 on Saturday afternoon (4:11pm, October 21, 2017). “I think it’s all very positive.”

Leeds started the 2017-18 Championship strongly, but prior to Saturday afternoon’s match against Bristol City, they had lost three successive league fixtures.

The West Yorkshire outfit got the better of City 3-0 away from home at the Ashton Gate Stadium and performed admirably well in the game.

The Whites now need to build on the win and put together a run of positive results.

It is going to be hard for Leeds to clinch a playoff spot given the stiff competition they face from other teams, but Thomas Christiansen is a good manager and has a number of very good players in his squad.
