Glasgow Rangers striker Alfredo Morelos is an important player for Steven Gerrard’s Ibrox club.

The former Leeds United and Liverpool midfielder has also suggested that Rangers can expect interest in the Colombia international striker.
McAllister told The Scottish Sun about Morelos: “There will probably be interest in Morelos. But if we’re sat where we are in the table when we come to the end of the month, selling him can’t be a consideration.
“The manager has said he will fall out with people if Morelos is sold. It’s the same feeling here. He is a key player for this group.”
Rangers stay
Morelos is one of the best young strikers in Europe, and Rangers have to keep hold of the striker for the rest of the season if they are to challenge Old Firm rivals Celtic for the Scottish Premiership title this season.
The 22-year-old has made 15 starts and one substitute appearance in the Scottish Premiership for Rangers so far this season, scoring nine goals in the process, according to WhoScored.

The striker does have disciplinary issues, but when in form, he is arguably the best in his position in the Scottish Premiership.
It is going to be hard for Rangers to turn down a massive offer, but perhaps from a football point of view, it will be best for the Gers if they keep hold of the striker beyond January.
