Mauricio Pochettino is reportedly trying to sign Leicester City’s Demarai Gray for Tottenham Hotspur.
If Tottenham Hotspur do manage to sign Demarai Gray from Leicester City in the summer, then he will come with a recommendation from Gary Lineker.
According to the Daily Mirror, Tottenham are trying to sign Gray – with Mauricio Pochettino impressed with the winger’s performances this season.
Gray has been used on a rotational basis at Leicester, but when he has started he has almost always caught the eye.
The youngster appears to have a very bright future, and Spurs reportedly feel that the England youth international could fit in well at White Hart Lane.
Pochettino already has a batch of some of the most exciting youngsters playing for him at Spurs, and would reportedly like to Gray to his squad.
And Lineker’s comments on Gray in early 2016, shows that he feels that the winger would be a good addition for Spurs.
Gray has scored one goal and created three assists in 21 Premier League appearances this season.
If he was to move to White Hart Lane, Gray would be in competition with the likes of Erik Lamela and Heung-Min Son for a place in Spurs’ first-team.
