Gary Lineker has given his take on speculation that Harry Kane could leave Tottenham Hotspur for Bayern Munich in the summer transfer window.

The former Tottenham Hotspur striker has said on Twitter that Harry Kane would be joining a massive club in Bayern Munich.

The BBC Match of the Day pundit has disagreed with pundits who do not think that Kane should leave Spurs for Bayern.

The Athletic has reported that Tottenham have agreed a deal with Bayern over the transfer of Kane.

Spurs have reportedly given the 30-year-old England international striker permission to move to Bundesliga champions Bayern.

In our opinion, Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane would do well at Bayern Munich.

Bayern are one of the biggest clubs in the world who regularly win the Bundesliga and compete for the UEFA Champions League.

The German giants are a massive institution.

To play for Bayern is an honour for any footballer in the world.

Bayern are a bigger club than Tottenham.

Yes, Bayern tend to win the Bundesliga on a regular basis, but they almost did not do so last season.

And the Bundesliga is a very competitive domestic league and has some wonderful footballers.

Bundesliga has some of the best fans in the world and is a very vibrant domestic league.

We do not understand why some do not think that leaving Tottenham for Bayern would not be good for Kane’s career.

Kane could spend two or three years in Germany, win some major trophies, and then return to the Premier League and beat Alan Shearer’s goal-record.
