Gary Lineker has praised Chelsea goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga on Twitter for his performance against Aston Villa at Villa Park in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon.
The former Tottenham Hotspur striker and Match of the Day presenter believes that Kepa was ‘sensational” for Chelsea in their win against Villa.
The 28-year-old Spain international made a number of brilliant saves against Steven Gerrard’s side, especially in the first half.
The £150,000-a-week (Spotrac) goalkeeper has not always had the best of times at Chelsea, but against Villa today, he stepped up his game and kept the home team’s attackers at bay.
The former Athletic Bilbao made a brilliant tripe save that really impressed Lineker, as you can see below.

Gary Lineker on Kepa Arrizabalaga for Chelsea v Aston Villa
Chelsea were the better team overall against Aston Villa at Villa Park today, but Graham Potter’s side could have easily lost the Premier League match had Kepa Arrizabalaga not made the saves that he did.
The Villans had some very good chances in the first half, but they found it really hard to get the ball past Kepa.
