One striker who has shocked the Premier League this season is Patrick Bamford, as Leeds take to life back in the top-flight like a duck to water.
The 27-year-old opened his account for the season with a poacher’s finish against Liverpool at Anfield, and hasn’t looked back since.
As things stand, Bamford has scored 15 Premier League goals this season, while also impressively recording seven assists.
It seems Bamford left a lasting impression on Liverpool after he bagged at Anfield.
The Athletic claim that Jürgen Klopp’s side are interested in the Leeds No.9.
Bamford has proven himself at this level, having previously failed in the Premier League while on loan at Crystal Palace, Norwich and Burnley.
To go from there, to being linked with the Premier League champions, shows how far the Englishman has come.
Aside from Liverpool, Gary Lineker has also been left impressed by Bamford’s efforts this season.

Speaking on the BBC’s Match of the Day, the 60-year-old called the ex-Chelsea striker ‘great’ before comparing him to Eric Cantona.
Back in October, Lineker said: “Who shall we analyse? Do you think Bamford maybe? Hat-trick for Patrick. He was great wasn’t he?
“That’s six goals in six games. There’s only one person who’s scored as many goals at this stage in the Premier League in Leeds’ history. Eric Cantona.”
In our view, the £10 million man would be fantastic under Klopp.

Both Marcelo Bielsa and the German play a similar, high-intensity style which appears to suit Bamford perfectly.
He has proven that he can press from the front, and is also someone who can provide for his teammates as well as score goals himself.
In that respect, he has been almost Roberto Firmino-esque this season.
Surely, Leeds would want a huge amount of money if they are to part ways with Bamford.
There are probably better value-for-money options out there for Liverpool, but if a move does materialise, the Leeds talisman would fit in well at Anfield.
