Gary Lineker has shown Ian Wright’s reaction to Alexandre Lacazette putting Arsenal 1-0 up against Brighton in an eight-second clip.

The BBC Match of the Day host was filming his colleague shortly after the Frenchman had opened the scoring at the Amex Stadium.

In the footage, Wright can be seen laughing with joy after getting up to hug the TV.

You can see Lineker’s tweet in all its glory below.

Wright had every reason to celebrate the strike, as it eventually turned out to be the winning goal for Mikel Arteta’s side.

Lacazette struck gold just seconds after coming on, in what was an inspired substitution from the Spaniard.

Arsenal’s No.9 was introduced in the 66th minute, and scored in the 66th minute after a fine solo run from Bukayo Saka.

After victory against Graham Potter’s men, the Gunners have now won back-to-back games in the Premier League, having also beaten Chelsea.

There was still plenty to be improved in on Arsenal’s display, although the fact Arteta is finally getting some positive results is a relief.

There’s a good chance for the north Londoners to make it three wins on the bounce, as they take on West Brom this Sunday.

The Baggies just lost 5-0 at home to Leeds, a game in which they were 4-0 down at half-time.
