Gary Lineker has taken to Twitter to share his verdict on Slavia Prague’s club statement, following the incident involving Rangers on Thursday.
As you may know, Glen Kamara was racially abused by Ondřej Kúdela in Rangers’ 2-0 Europa League defeat.
Yesterday, Slavia Prague issued a statement denying the allegations, and added their own claim that Kúdela was assaulted by Kamara in the tunnel.
It was quite a dodgy statement, in our view, with some attempts to spin the issue on Rangers.
For example, Slavia Prague wrote about how strongly Rangers were flying into tackles, which feels quite pathetic in the grand scheme of things.

It seems Lineker is also quite sceptical about the validity of their statement.
You can see his one-word verdict on it below.
In our view, this could drag on for a while.
We must state that we believe Kamara, for his reaction – and the reaction of others around him – spoke volumes.

Sadly, on the basis of their statement, it seems Slavia Prague will not co-operate with civility.
That’s a real shame, as unfortunately, there really isn’t any way to prove what Kúdela said unless he holds his hands up.
Hopefully, justice will be served eventually, and Kamara can have some closure.
