Former Tottenham striker Gary Lineker has taken to Twitter to ask Harry Kane how his ankle injury is coming along after Spurs drew 0-0 at Bournemouth.
Tottenham travelled down to the Vitality Stadium this afternoon to take on Bournemouth, and whilst they had their chances, they couldn’t grab the winner against Eddie Howe’s Cherries.

It’s now two 0-0 draws in a row for Tottenham after the same result against Bayer Leverkusen in the Champions League in midweek, and it’s just one goal scored in three games since the international break earlier this month.
The break seems to have halted Tottenham’s momentum that was generated from the 2-0 win over Manchester City, and Mauricio Pochettino may be a little concerned with his side’s attacking play.

Vincent Janssen has still yet to score a goal from open play since signing from AZ Alkmaar over the summer, whilst Heung-min Son – who was so dangerous before the international break – hasn’t had the same impact in the last three games.
Notably, Tottenham are without their star striker Harry Kane, who has been out with an ankle injury for just over a month now.

The England international has been Tottenham’s main goal threat over the past two years, and it’s become clear over the last week that Spurs desperately miss their talismanic hitman.
After the final whistle against Bournemouth, Match of the Day host and former Tottenham striker Gary Lineker took to Twitter to ask Kane how his ankle is feeling, a clear suggestion that Spurs need him back as soon as possible.
