Gary Lineker says he never got Marouane Fellaini, loves N’Golo Kante

The former Leicester City striker was impressed with N’Golo Kante’s performance for Chelsea against Manchester United in the Premier League on Sunday.

Former Tottenham Hotspur and Leicester City striker Gary Lineker has stated on social networking site Twitter that he never got Manchester United midfielder Marouane Fellaini.

Lineker made the comment during the Premier League game between Chelsea and United at Stamford Bridge on Sunday evening.

Fellaini started the match and played for the first 45 minutes, as Jose Mourinho’s side suffered a heavy 4-0 defeat.

Former Tottenham striker Lineker was impressed with N’Golo Kante’s performance for Chelsea against the Red Devils.

The 25-year-old France international defensive midfielder, who joined the Blues from Leicester in the summer transfer window, scored for Antonio Conte’s side in the 70th minute.

Over the course of the 90 minutes at Stamford Bridge on Sunday evening, hosts Chelsea had 44% of the possession, took 14 shots of which six were on target, and earned five corners, according to BBC Sport.

Visitors United had 56% of the possession, took 16 shots of which five were on target, and earned seven corners, according to BBC Sport.

The Red Devils are seventh in the Premier League table at the moment, while Chelsea are currently fourth in the standings.
