Is Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane good enough to play for Real Madrid?

Gary Lineker has suggested to Yahoo! Sport that Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane is good enough to play for Real Madrid at the moment.

The former Tottenham striker rates the England international highly, and believes that the 24-year-old is good enough at the moment to play for Spanish and European giants Madrid.

The former Barcelona star has also stated that Kane is a better striker than Real Madrid star Karim Benzema.

Harry Kane #10 of Tottenham Hotspur reacts in the second half against Roma during the International Champions Cup on July 25, 2017 at Red Bull Arena in Harrison, New Jersey.

Lineker told Yahoo! Sport: “Where could go Kane be in a few years’ time? That remains to be seen and while Spurs will hope he stays with them, you can see a scenario where one of the big clubs might look at him.

“I stand by my statement from last season that he was better than their current striker Karim Benzema and feel Kane could play for a big club like Real Madrid right now if he wanted to.

“I like Benzema, he is a very good centre-forward, but I think if I played in that Real Madrid team, I would score a goal every game and I think Kane is good enough to play at that stature of club.”

Harry Kane of Tottenham celebrates scoring to make it 1-0 during the pre-season match between Tottenham Hotspur and Juventus at Wembley Stadium on August 5, 2017 in London, England.
