According to talkSPORT, West Ham are interested in signing Danny Ings, as they also weigh up a move for Tammy Abraham.

The Hammers are looking for a new striker, and the Southampton frontman is on their list, unsurprisingly.

Since joining the Saints for £20 million, Ings has stayed injury free and is in the form of his life.

The 3-cap England international netted an impressive 25 goals in all competitions last season, which has not gone unnoticed by David Moyes.

Another man who is aware of the 28-year-old’s talents is Gary Lineker, who foresaw just how good Ings was going to be back in 2015.

After Liverpool confirmed the signing of Ings from Burnley, the BBC Match of the Day host shared his thoughts on Twitter.

Six years on, and it’s safe to say Ings has certainly fulfilled that potential.

Southampton’s No.9 has scored 53 Premier League goals, and has 104 goals in total across his career.

So far this season, he’s bagged 11 goals in 29 games.

Sadly, he’s suffered some terrible injuries during his time at Liverpool.

Had he stayed injury free, he probably would’ve scored a lot more.

Now, he seems to have found a way to keep himself fit, making this a no-brainer for West Ham – he would thrive at the London Stadium.
