Tottenham Hotspur beat Wolverhampton Wanderers 3-2 on Saturday night.

Tottenham Hotspur managed to cling on for all three points with a 3-2 win over Wolverhampton Wanderers on Saturday night, dragging their fans through a whole range of emotions in the process.
Spurs were looking to get back to winning ways in the Premier League after a 1-0 home defeat to Manchester City on Monday, and Mauricio Pochettino again rotated his side two games in 48 hours earlier this week.
It was one player brought back into the side who opened the scoring, as Erik Lamela smashed home from Son Heung-min’s pass before a sweeping move saw Lucas Moura head home a delightful goal.
Harry Kane made it 3-0 after the break, but Wolves did hit back as Juan Foyth gave away two penalties, which were dispatched by Ruben Neves and Raul Jimenez, but Spurs held on for all three points.
Fans will be left cursing the fact that Spurs never make anything easy, but they will also be pleased with a win and undoubtedly scintillated by some of the ball on show in the first half.

Former Spurs striker Gary Lineker took to Twitter on Saturday night to praise Tottenham’s play, calling their style ‘beautiful’, resulting in two ‘gorgeously crafted’ goals to go 2-0 up.
Lineker then poked fun at comments made by Gary Neville earlier this week, in which the Sky Sports pundit suggested that Spurs had been ‘pathetic’ for 30 years before Pochettino arrived, as Lineker joked that it was great to see them not being pathetic with their win at Molineux.
