Gary Lineker reacts to Tottenham Hotspur win tonight, impressed with 3 players

Gary Lineker has taken to Twitter to give his reaction to Tottenham Hotspur’s win against Arsenal in the North London derby this evening.

Tottenham have got the better of Arsenal 2-0 at home in the Premier League.

Son Heung-min put Spurs in the lead with a wonderful goal after just 13 minutes, and Harry Kane doubled the advantage in first-half injury time.

Former Tottenham striker Lineker was following the match, and he was impressed by the display produced by Jose Mourinho’s side.

Lineker was also impressed by the performances of Son, Hane and midfielder Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg.

While Son and Kane scored the goals, Hojbjerg was superb in the middle of the park and was one of the best players on the pitch.

According to WhoScored, the former Southampton star won two headers, and made one tackle, three interceptions and five clearances.

Over the course of the 90 minutes at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Sunday evening, hosts Tottenham had 31% of the possession, took six shots of which three were on target, and earned three corners, according to BBC Sport.

Visitors Arsenal had 69% of the possession, took 11 shots of which to were on target, and earned nine corners, according to BBC Sport.

The win against Arsenal means that Tottenham are at the top of the Premier League table at the moment with 24 points from 11 matches, two points ahead of second-placed and London rivals Chelsea.
