The Leicester City scout has become the new Director of Football role at Everton.

Gary Lineker has taken to Twitter to react to Steve Walsh’s move to Everton from Leicester City.
The Foxes scout completed a move to Goodison Park on Thursday after the Blues made a move for his services last week.

He has taken up the new Director of Football role at the club as Farhad Moshiri continues to wield his influence at the club.
It is hoped he can be the link between new manager Ronald Koeman and the board in regards to transfer business.
Some have questioned why he would swap the Premier League champions for Everton, and Lineker reacted in a similar manner in his tweet.
He was however keen to wish Walsh all the best in his new role, telling Everton that they have made a great appointment.

The Blues will now be hoping that Walsh can work the same sort of transfer magic that he managed at the Kingpower Stadium.
He was credited with bringing the likes N’Golo Kante and Riyad Mahrez to the club, with both proving to be key players in their title winning campaign last year.
While Everton may now have money to spend, similar captures such as those would undeniably be welcomed also.
